Debra Riordan, CAS, is certified as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist by the California College of Ayurveda. She has over 25 years clinical experience and has studied Ayurveda, herbology and yoga with Dr. Vasant Lad, David Frawley, Subhash Ranade and many other noted Ayurvedic & Vedic experts for over fifteen years. She is a member of the first graduating class of the California College of Ayurveda and is certified by the American Institute of Vedic Studies. She practices & teaches Ayurveda in San Francisco and Marin.

Debra originally interned at U.C.S.F. as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist over 20 years ago, performing diagnostic imaging and clinical research at the V.A. Medical Center and other hospitals. She is the author of several scientific papers and has acted as a consultant for medical centers & research facilities throughout the S.F. Bay Area.

Debra's own healing journey began over fifteen years ago. She sought a natural method to relieve lifelong allergies and asthma. Utilizing the nutritional & lifestyle techniques recommended for her Ayurvedic constitution, she has eliminated her dependency on inhalers, asthma medications and antihistamines for the past nine years. She utilizes her education & personal experience to assist clients with their particular challenges with chronic illness. Her work emphasizes the healing power of food, herbs & spices for enhanced digestion and energy.
